Would this be better than a regulator?
I am thinking about getting one of these for my newly built rpg (sorry my camera is still broken). So what do You think?????/

Ive been considering the purchase of one of those too, for all my pneumatic needs, i could run it off of the tank that comes with it, plus my other 2 paintball co2 tanks, I would advise getting it as an alternative to when you cant use a compressor.

Hey, Could anyone do the math, (or show us how to do it) For how much G02 u get at 100psi from a regulated tank? easiest measurement would be in gallons of 100 psi c02, as i can relate that to my compressor. If this is overly complicaterd dont bother, but i dont know and it would be nice to know if i could. Assume temperature as 75F id say.
Also, where can you buy paintball sized C02 tanks? and for how much?

i heard someone say they had one off those like explode (snap, fracture , burst idk) its wasn't anything life threatening, but the point is it broke. as for calculating how much or how long the co2 is going to last becomes very difficult becuase it is stored in liquid form, i do not know the necessary formals to convert it. i bought a bran knew 5lb regulated co2 system for $100 from beveragefactory.com which is $10 more than this and can store a hell of a lot more co2 (cost me about $20 to refill a 5lb tank). my 5lb tank cost me $60 but i bet you could get a normal paintball tank for $30. i have a store thats not to far from me that sells paintball/airsoft stuff just check the phone book, but i bet you could it a lot cheap online (google is your friend)

i bought it, it is a regulator, make sure when you buy it you go to the store , there, it comes with 1 empty tank and the give you a free one filled, i dont think it could exploed(spelling?) via burst disk considering the burst disk is on the tank, in case of over filling or heat spikes. i got it for my portable vortex gun im currently working on. one thing to keep in mind is that after a couple of times using it, it appears that co2 will not stay at the regulated pressure due to the spring inside but can be fixed easily with a new spring or putting somthing behind the spring to put more tension on it, just watch the gauge for a the meter to heep runnig after you turn the regulator down best thing to do is unscrew bottle. its not somthing you should worry about just keep it in mind. also 20 oz paintball tanks are llike 14 dollars

if you dont understand somthing i wrote or ur confused its cause i jump around a lot cause i got ADD and shitty(launguage apropriat or no?) spelling so just ask for me to retype it, just be specific on what u need to know or ill side track. peace.

well i dont know where the model number is so ill just give you links...
<a href="http://www.beveragefactory.com/C5.shtml">the 5lb tanks</a>
<a href="http://www.beveragefactory.com/742HP.shtml">the co2 reg</a>
i only have one complaint the reg says it will go to 130psi but past about 110psi with excessive air use (a vortex bbmg) it becomes very cold and seems to weaken the spring in the internal safety release just enough for it to trigger. not a good thing when you start spaying co2 off your back in the heat of an airsoft battle, it just so happened that was the first day i had used the system and took me a while to figure out how to turn it off
the bottom line - don't go above 110psi with this reg
