I come to you today with a promise: I am building a gun, and I will finish it!

I've put too many cool projects on hold. Either because I have no time, no money, no proper tools, or I'm just lazy. Yeah, probably that last reason.

No More! I've started a project and I will finish it.

Well, here is the start. I've got all the PVC parts ordered and the barrel support tees bored out with holesaws. I still need to get my 2" Sprinkler (tomorrow) drill it, tap, and slap everything together and I'm done.

Chamber is 3' of 3" PVC
Barrel is 4' of 2.5" PVC (I regret cutting one foot off of it seeing how out of proportion the thing will be. Oh well.)

Good luck :D
Dont let the TV tempt you to stop build once you get going. TV can be very addictive and it is the lazy man's sport. And you know, we are all on the computers too much damn it we need to go outside and build more mother Fu*king cannons. WHY ARE WE LAZY AND FAT AS AMERICANS???
You Europeans and Aussie's and New Zealander's and any other place are lucky because you aren't corrupt as much as Americans are on Mcdoland's and other fast food places. We Americans are fat now, but not me :D

I think i might have gone too far with this post. But i think you get the picture :D

First ammo will be a tennis ball.

First target will be the sky (I want to see how high it will go)

Well, in my overzealous attempt to make this gun compact, I made it too compact. The barrel support tees overlap since the barrel is so close to the chamber.

If anyone can find me a 2" Riser (female pipe thread x male pipe thread) it would be MUCH appreciated. Pic:

So I scrapped the barrel's tee and just carved out a short length of 2" pipe to contour to the barrel and plugged it into the chamber tee. Basically like the typical block of wood support, only all PVC. The zip ties are temporary, I just needed to hold the thing together until I get straps.

I still need to mod the valve. Any tips?

Make a stock so you can use it as a frickin' huge shoulder fired gun. :P

Looks great so far!

How are you going to go about modding the valve with a decent setup so the blow gun isn't on top, that'd be difficult to fire unless you are directly over it.

I'm going to tap it with 3/4" NPT and use a ball valve with a handle extension for added leverage. If I ever decide to, I'll pilot it with a QEV.

3/4 inch, man is that overkill or what!I used a 1/4 on a 2" cannon and it goes fine although, there will be increased pilot volume with the pipes etc,but a 1/2 should do just fine.

Have a look to see how I did it here, ohh and thats a 3/8 nipple reducing to 1/4 that is screwed into the flow control section.

Think so? Well I do have pipe taps in 1/2". I'll try to use as big a size as I can without exceeding the flow control stem diamtere then.
