Well here it is, I still have to think of something to use as a barrel support inside the chamber and I might strap some dowel or something to the barrel to keep it straight but apart from that its pretty much done.

Yes I know it needs a paint job and yes I know that I'm not a neat pipe welder but it was mainly because my primer has no brush so I had to use a rag.

what did you use for the piston, is it pvc rod? I also have the same prob with this primer

the piston is a pvc coupler, I wedged it onto a drill and held sandpaper against it like a lathe until it was the right size. I have taken this to 90psi with nothing in the barrel. I'm having a problem with the barrel not sealing quick enough and pushing airtight projectiles out slowly before you can fire, this is probably because I only have a little 12v compressor that doesn't fill it quick enough, it could also be because the barrel is on a slight angle because theres no barrel support in the chamber. I need a good floor pump but they are so damn expensive.

Maybe you could construct another chamber to fill up first. Then dump this chamber's pressure into the launcher. Then it would be a matter of topping off the pressure in your cannon.

I got it sussed now, the barrel support makes the gun seal at low pressure and I got a heavy duty steel barreled stirrup pump (only AUD$16) which makes filling it take only about 10 seconds.

Ive been looking for some good ammo to do a damage video, fishing sinkers batterys and pebbles are prime candidates. Ive been slowly tweaking and improving the gun over the last few months, but now its perfect I'm ready to do some videos.

I lost interest in it for a while there after a close call with the plod (police). I had gotten into a bit of a routine of shooting this scarecrow that school kids made for they're vegetable garden down at the local primary school.

Every few days I would put a frozen potato or large river stone through the neck of this scarecrow knocking of its head and every time they would fix it, this went on for ages until over the school holidays they put it inside a classroom. So I put away my sprinkler gun and brought out the piston punisher. I loaded an AA battery and opened fire from about 10m, the battery ripped through a wooden door then the scarecrow, bounced off something loud then I think through the ceiling and probably got stopped by insulation or the tin roof. It also, unbeknownst to me had set off a silent alarm.

I was retreating quite pleased with myself when some young guys playin footy started askin me about the gun and how it works and that, so I talked to them for probably 30mins when one of them said 'hey is that cops?' about 150m away there were guys in uniforms starting to jog toward me after they saw what I was holding so I decided to make a 40m dash to my car, when I got there I chucked the gun in the boot and made the smart decision to abandon the car since they couldn't have seen me dump the gun. I took off into the bush and hit the deck as soon as I found some thick scrub. I stayed there for probably 10mins then got back to my car and drove off.

Ive had a few guns stolen by cops in the past so getting caught with 2 in my boot now I'm an adult, would not be pretty..
