I just want to see some of the ways to make a breech loading pneumatic gun
because when i searched for it i came up with nothing. I want to see a variety not just the really simple ones.

Here is an example ( I did not make this)

i saw some one do it with a ball valve they drilled a hole in the side and closed it to load then turned it back to to get it in it was on copper though same concept should work for a pvc ball valve though

All nice examples, just a couple questions, Hubb would yours stand the pressures of being shot? and PVC arsenal is that just a screw on barrel cause thats a nice simple idea i could use

Yep, I use a very similar design (with a pass-through and sharpened breech end for easy loading of spuds), check it out here: http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/pete-za ... 11054.html

It's probably the easiest and cheapest breech loader system. I'd prefer camlocks but couldn't find them locally and didn't feel like ordering them online.

PVC Arsenal's version just uses an additional barrel support to keep it straight and smooth.

Peace,
Pete Zaria.

The ball valve is by far the best if you're using round projectiles (or things that are rather small). I used it on a few of the paintball guns that I made, and it works beautifully, plus it's pretty fast. But if you want to cut plugs out of potatoes, the loading system on the Taternater 2 (I think that's the one) is very good, although complex.

The first setup I used was that without the little clip thing. It shot paintball sabots quite nicely (which is its intended purpose) but it would not shoot a potato. Once I added the clip, it works great.

My design is probably more complicated than some of the others, but it is not that difficult.

Thx, hopefully i can make a breech loader cause i don't like using a ram rod, even though they are pretty effective

If I were you, I would go with something described by PVC Arsenal or Pete Zaria. Using a camlock, this is a very effective, yet very simple breech.

Don't worry guys, I've got the next gen of break open breaches in parts on my desk. You won't have to hear of goat's gun much longer.
