i realize that pneumatic guns are not to be used in extreme cold weather situations, but is there any range of temps that it should not be used in? and also, i just finished my cannon and i am currently keeping it in my shed and its around 30 degrees outside at the moment, should i store it inside for the time being or will it being unpressurized in a cold environment have any bad results for the gun, specifically the chamber, being built out of sch40 2" pipe. thanks

Well, if it's SCH 40 2" PVC, don't use it in the winter.
If it's SCH 40 2" ABS, make sure it's pressure rated. If it is, it can be used in the winter with no problem.
If it's SCH 40 2" cellular core plastic pipe, don't use it at all.
If it's SCH 40 2" cast iron, don't use high pressure and be careful about not dropping it.
If it's SCH 40 2" brass, aluminum, steel, SS, copper, or titanium, it will be fine.

ABS isnt effected by the cold????????

I feel like it is. My Airsoft Gas Blowback's ABS slide shattered in the winter but was 100% fine for nearly 2 summers.

Hmm... I've never had any problems with ABS being affected by cold. Are you sure the ABS wasn't cell core? I've heard that cell core ABS is common in the states. Obviously if it was extremely cold it isn't a good idea, I wasn't talking dry ice cold, just normal winter cold, like -10 C or so.

It should be interesting making that video if the barrel explodes at 450 psi with 2.5 pounds of Pykrete in it...

ok, thats what i understood: don't shoot in winter, but as to storing it in the winter, is it alright to leave it in a shed or should it be brought inside

if you're not firing it it's just sitting there it should be fine
