Do you need both, because i wouldnt mind goin 3 hours to your house and pick one up? :D

But you can make a nice hybrid, high pressure pneumatic, there are alot of options.

should be, i dont think oxygen liquefies at that pressure.

it wont liquify but it is very combustible..shouldnt be a problem i dont think...i was just looking at it and wondering how i could possibly use it...i wouldnt run out...ever...because the machine i have pumps oxygen...and its an endless supply because it basically makes its own oxygen...kind of hard to explain

Ideas? Pump that into a steel spudgun with some propane, and let her rip!

Or, since this is in the pneumatic discussion, build an oxygen-pressurized pneumatic. Kind of a waste, though.

Er... oxygen itself is not combustible.

But having pure oxygen around hugely increases the ability of other things to combust.

I dunno...you could get high pressure with any gas. Oxygen has a fairly unique property, why not exploit it?

I guess if you fire an oxygen pneumatic enough in a closed environment, you'll at least get a bit high :P

so my best bet would be to use the oxygen tank as a filling system right?...could you tihnk of any way to fill a 16oz co2 tank with the oxygen...the co2 tank would of course be my chamber...i would figure it out myself but i do not have the co2 tank at my house right now and i think better with my things in front of me...also how fast do you think it would take to fill the co2 tank to about 150?

You should use the oxygen for some real oxy/propane hybrids or other projects like rocket engines.
Then if one of the tanks is empty make some really awesome hybrid out of it.

+1
in a lot of things you wouldn't figure .
pipe dope on your threads, oil, soldering flux, lots of things not normally endangering take on a whole different "personality" when you hit them with pure oxygen .,,

at that pressure when you crack open the valve on the bottle the shock wave is traveling faster than the speed of sound.

I'm not saying don't use it

but you might want to really research what your doing,
:)

other people have used oxygen...and it didnt seem to be any different than compressed air...

Oxygen is heavier than air, so my guess is it will actually perform ever-so-slightly less well than compressed air.
