Quick update:
I just shot an empty coke bottle, 763mph. 2mph over the speed of sound, 100psi.

Note how the backstop flew backwards. If the MDF board was supported better, im pretty sure the bottle would have compleatly cleared the board.

With the chrony so close to the muzzle, the blast might be affecting it. Try heavier projectiles from farther away, and see if you're still getting higher readings than GGDT predicts.

Hello again,
After afew months of nothing, I took the piston out and re-greased it and cleaned it up. Turns out that a highly greased piston increases power by a good margin.
