So here is my 99 % done burst disk(i only need the female part of the camlock to complete it)

It work with burst disk(DUH!) holded with a camlock.

I have to wait to sell my warhammer army so i would have enough money to buy the female part of the camlock...

its a bit small to be artillery  but it looks cool.

is this for airsoft? if it is that would be pretty sweet. (Iwould suggest adding a ball valve (1/2" or 3/4") before the burst disk for increased performance.

Nope, its for potatoes.

I would suggest adding a ball valve (1/2" or 3/4") before the burst disk for increased performance
its too late...

How would that increase performance???

Maybe because it will make it "triger-able"...

Well, it would definitely be more under-control (always a good thing) plus You would think it would work better with a burst disk b/c the disk wouldn't have time to stretch, tear, or come out of place.

Its a camlock and put a lot of pressure to make the burst disk hold in place.

Are you gonna give it an OD green and black finish?

That is a common misconception that "some" members believe.

What that actually does is decrease the performance of the burst disk because is rips open when you open the ball valve so essentially its just a ball valve cannon.

Right now your performance should be powerful. If you want to trigger it, you would have to go along this lines of making a pneumatic ram to puncture the disk or a triggered burst disk.

It seems to me like a burst disk would help out a ball valve by helping to slow down airflow until the ball valve is fully opened. I dont doubt that my reasoning is wrong here, but my brain is having a tough time bending itself to think differently. so I am basically trusting you and doubting my brain

Well you see, the ball valve is a flow restriction as well as slow opening time.

When the burst disk is exposed to partial pressure when the ball valve is opening, the burst disk already bursts before the ball valve is fully opened.

So what you then have is the rest of the air flowing through the ball valve, like a normal ball valve cannon.

But when its with out a ball valve, the air rushes out as the disk opens which is all done in fractions of a second, which is a better opening time, and flow because there is no ball valve restricting the air.

Looks good. Are you going to drop in the ammo or let the disk burst from the pressure.

But if burst disk is set to 90% of pressure in the tank (with BV open, not initial pressure) it should just act as a burst disk... with the same flow as the ball valve, but if its big it should be fine ?

The valve would just act as a fast way of filling, wouldn't it ?

I will pump until it burst.

What range could i reach with that?
