Yes. Piston valve guns work. What do you plan on making your piston out of?

It'd help if your piston had more surface area on the sealing face exposed to pressure. At the moment, there's little, if any, surface area actually exposed that will help push the piston back.

jackssmirkingrevenge, has proved it can work, but it'd be better if you have more surface area exposed.

ya as long as there is a small equalizer between the chamber behind the piston and the pressure chamber that cant equalize fast enough when the chamber behind the iston is opened.
