Hey guys

I'm building a copper coax. The chamber is 1" by 2' and the barrel 1/2" by 3'
anyways does anyone know the best way to make the barrel go into the chamber?
would i have to modify a copper reducer, and if so how would i do that?

Thanks

That'll work.

Just use a dremel, or a small round file to get rid of the lip in the reducer, allowing your barrel to go all the way through.

Some cutting fluid will help keep your file from "filling up", if you go that route.

Or use a copper bushing. They can be found in the plumbing isle as well.

so would the bushing also have a lip in it?

thanks

No, they don't have any obstructions.

so the barrel would just slide right through and then i could solder it?

That's correct.
