Any Posibility of small brass fittings? Like 1/4in and 1/8 NTP?

And some metal Ball valves, 2in to 1/8 in?

And what about PVC fittings and pipe?

If you look real close at the inflator and other assemblies, you will notice some 1/8 in and 1/4 in fittings.

In the future I may get to the 1/8 and 1/4 fittings.

I may due PVC sch 80 fittings only. I thought someone already did PVC models.

It took me over 80 hours to do the iron and steel models.
Lots of time to do download, conversion, arranging, combining, and uploading.

I have recently uploaded component sections to show a complete launcher design.

It is basically what I call a sjog Style Launcher.
sjog inspired me to create drawings for it because I thought it rather unique.

I wouldn't mind 2d fittings (like if you laid the fitting down and cut out the middle 1mm). I made some crappy ones that really helped me decide that my auto hybrid wouldn't work. For some reason, I really don't like doing things in 3d.

Also, don't forget you can go to McMaster-Carr and download 3D models of many of their parts. These can then be added to the library.

Some of them I created from their library and customized via Boolean add or subtract to sat files.

Boolean, is that a kind of soup? Hehe, just kidding. I had to take an autocad 3D class and remember doing the boolean operations.

I have good news for our model library! There is a program called e-drawings for sketchup. This lets anyone with sketchup create a file of their sketchup models and drawings that anyone can open, rotate and view in all ways, as if they had the program installed themselves. These files can be stored on a web server, right here in this thread! Anyone who browses this topic can simply click the icon of a model, drawing or rendering that they would like to inspect or study and it opens right up and they can do so.
This will make it so much easier for people to get involved in the CAD arena here. NO ONE will any longer have to leave the forum to share or view designs in 3D.

Anyone with sketchup, download this program. Its made by solidworks and they are supporting sketchup. Make sure you click the free version as there is also a pro version available for $100.00. The free version is available to anyone with no strings attached. I also have e-drawings for solidworks, so I can submit my models and designs as well for ANYONE to inspect or study, right here in the forum. No more copying and pasting pics guys, we got the real deal now.

I am evaluating it for my use and found out some interesting things.
Even though its for sketchup it also will open dxf/dwg files and give nice renderings.

Still have to try things in sketchup and determine how to incorporate the self executing program or use the zip version.

Keep in mind sketchup files are typically twice the size of dxf/dwg files.

I will have to research the file size limitations on an attachment.

It still may be better to use some separate file hosting service.

I am trying out FileFactory to see how well this will work.

I was able to open your e-drawings file. So it works great!

Updated for the addition of Brass tees and crosses.

Comment about the self extracting files:
It is a bit inconvenient to use a free file host server but I guess, what do you expect for free. At least the files can be up to 300mb.

The only reason I did all the work of creating sketchup downloads is because sketchup is free and most members complain about the cost of something.

I guess for sketchup it is easier to use 3D-Warehouse as the file server.
Although it has limitations of 10mb files.

I had to split that launcher into 3 separate sections to upload.

Apparently there are no requests or interest.
Either that or sketchup is to difficult for some to use.

Thank you for hosting them on the 3d warehouse and thank you for making sketchup downloads. It is nice that sketchup is free but its even nicer that it is very very quick to jot down mental ideas onto paper.
