right about 2,000ft/lb 30ft downrange, 62gm ball and chrony measuring about 970-1000 fps setup 30 ft from the muzzle...

Thanks :D That's the explosive impact I expect from high speed stuff. :D
I get the same results with larger projectiles and jugs of water. Nice. Don't stand too close. I got a shower last time I did that from about 10 feet away.

It's surprising how far the water droplets can fly. Even shots from cannons on the relatively small scales I work on are capable of throwing water 30 feet or more.

Actually, a few of the video takes I've done have been ruined for that exact reason - the camera gets drenched and the lens covered in droplets.
Does that thing kinda look like a big cat to you?
