Help with trigger

My mead 3-way valves finally came today so I threw together a quick test so I could try out if my mechanism would work. The filling and firing valve works brilliantly.here is my original plan for these valves, the only real problem is the orientation of the ports and trigger and the lever for the 3way valve requires vertical force while the bolt needs horizontal.

The solution I came up with is to use flexible copper pipe and steel cable like bike brake cables to change the directions of force. If any one knows why this wont work or could think of a better way input would be appreciated.

Why not use a real bike handbreak..you could fit it on the reservoir

steel cable would probably work...
it's funny but today when I was smoking outside I looked at brakes on my bike... and my first thought was 'man... that would make an awesome trigger'

there is a simpler solution... get rid of that elbow between the tank and the 3 way valve and put one between the barrel and the QEV...

Or put the elbow between the 3way valve and the QEV.
