My bike pump only goes 160, but you are right, if i make a high presure pump, i could go 300 psi maximum just for safety, as i am a newb or else if i get my design approved by an enginner ( my dad ) that it can wistand the forces.why not a bigger chamber with higher pressure maeby 500psi
If i have a 4.9 square centimeter cylinder at 3000 psi, it would be exercing 1 ton of force! I dont have the ressources to achieve something like that, so i will stay within 300 psi. (approx 6000 cc of air)
Maybe, but i cant use your design as i cant make an vent hole to the exterior of the airchamber, or else i will have to perforate the side of my pcp to fit the regulator.easier to build version only need a drillpress

Without the help of audriusize, i will have to scratch my head badly.
it is really simple
a hole in the piston lets the high pressure air from right site to left site and let it out between the piston and the wall
now the lower pressure chamber is filling with air and the pressure/force against the piston rise up, overcome the springforce and the piston moves right so the oring will close the port
