what are you gonna use as a barrel? i still can't find anything. all the usual ways aren't available to me at the moment. all that is left is to buy a real one. that's not happening.

520 fps with .43g thats pretty intense. i hope it gets a scope or something that will give it extreme accuracy. whats the magazine going to be like? a tube like in a shotgun or a detachable mag. (I haven't seen anything else of this gun if there was, so i don't know a lot about it.) I'm imagining some sort of a winchester lever action with out a lever. what do you plan on making it like?

Its a lever pump carbine and breach loading ( pretty much a crossman 1377c ).I am at my home workshop this whole week, so i expect to update soon.

Can someone remind me the flight coefficient of an airsoft ? I read it somewhere on spudfiles ...

If you're interested I can make a small video of the 1377c I tweaked, or post a picture.

crossman 1377c

If it's a carbine, wouldn't it be more like a crosman 760? The 1377's a target pistol, but I assume you knew that.

This one is modded and looks pretty much like my design.

If you dont mind, I would love to see some schematics and mods! I have been thinking about a build for a 6mm semi auto airsoft and the knowledge in this forum is kind of overwhelming but I love seeing what others have done and how its worked out.

the way I see it, there is no reason you should have to drop $100-$300 on an airsoft "sniper" and then have to drop another $200-$400 to make it accurate lol

Ok, I see what you're doing :)

One problem though....the 1377 is not a semi-automatic gun. It is a single-shot pump-pistol.

This is not really an update as i have no pics

But i can tell you that its going great! the valve assembly is 50 % done (need to complete the trigger and valve rod)

Within the next week ( i have 10 days school free ! ) i will certainly be done ...

Ahh, custom airsoft. Bane of spudgunners everywhere, outside the relatively limited spectrum of vortex blocks and cloud chambers.

If only I had the tools.....

Looking forward to an update. It's been a while since we've seen a proper airsoft, rather than these money-wasters we call vortex guns. In addition to plastic, I see a whole lot of cash going downrange, too. I had no clue cash could hurt so badly.
