Are you sure?In addition to the requirement for an RPAL, restricted weapons in Canada may only be used (legally) on an approved firing range, you'll need a transit permit to carry it from your house to the range as well (don't get caught changing your route plan either), and don't forget safe storage (a biggy!).
My dad as an acquisition paper (even tough he as no guns) and told me thats the law in the city, but if you are actually one you 1 mile by one mile private territory in the greath with north(or at least far enough from montreal), you can shoot no problem
And it not a pistol, as the barrel makes 530 mm
From what i have understood from the law, its the fact that its small that makes it restricted, but over 105 mm barrel, its not that much problems
And in our great nation, you can buy a cal .50 without much trouble
our wonderful majority party is trying to take them away from us.Demon wrote: And in our great nation, you can buy a cal .50 without much trouble
That trigger is amazing, do you have an interrupter on it?

Not in canada i hopeour wonderful majority party is trying to take them away from us.
What is an interupter ?
I have managed to make it work with one side off, it looks really nice
The trigger is real smooth (if i placed a ball bearing, it would theoritically be 0 lbs of pull ( not counting the spring tough)
I love it

Demon...the law makes no distinction as to "city" or not in regards to this matter. I really don't know what your dad is talking about...or who told him that.
But I thought we had settled this...without meeting BOTH the velocity and energy criteria...it is NOT a firearm and does NOT have to be registered...at all.
Install the relief valve if you need to limit one or the other, and forget about it.
You and your dad should read this;

And check out form CAFC 679. Take a GOOD look.

I don't understand why we're still talking about this...keep it UNDER one limit or the other...and forget about it.High-powered air pistols are classified as restricted if their barrel is longer than 105 mm or prohibited if their barrel length is 105 mm or less.
A quick look through the list of prohibited weapons shows several 50 cal weapons. The Barret 82A1 included. Not restricted...prohibited.

the pink thing in this diagram. Basically, it keeps the hammer from following the bolt as it returns. In firearms, it will usually not result in firing, but without that, the hammer will just stay down. single action. In a hammer valve, it will probably be full auto.

Is the Sheytac m200 prohibited? (PLEASE not!)A quick look through the list of prohibited weapons shows several 50 cal weapons. The Barret 82A1 included. Not restricted...prohibited.
The barret might be prohibited as it is semi automatic ...
The only cal.50 allowed would be the muzle loaded then
@Ramses
I dont need an interrupter, as its a single shot ...
And not an hammer
