this web page I found is pretty interesting, it's about compressed air powered air craft, it has great information on DIY hydro testing including the hydro test of a soda bottle, and a homemade air tank made from beercans that hydro tested to have a bursting pressure of over 300psi

I've always wondered how to turn a beer can into an airtank

not much, I would expect, because soup is generally not carbonated, so they don't need to be designed to hold pressure.

I remember seeing an article about steam powered model aircraft in my aeromodelling days, the poor man's effort came to grief when it tipped over in a heavy landing and spilled fuel all over the intricate balsa structure and turned it into a fireball :?
