Hey guys,

Long time no post, since I've recently gotten into nerfing so I've been on forums elsewhere. Anyway I thought this might be something really interesting for you guys to see... As the title says... Nerf Air Compressor Mod. The mod was done by Singapore Nerfers. It was just interesting because they just made an extremely convenient and portable air source which we recharge air every time you have run out...

Here's a quick how they did it...

And there's a video of it in action.

I decided to put it here because it seems that you would be able to integrate this mod into MANY different types of air guns... Hope ye old interested.

I really dig the setup, but unless major changes are made, I doubt it will work for anything other than nerf guns. Great design though.

Yeah I doubt that tiny little compressor can put out much more than 40~50psi. Not exactly powerful, for our uses anyway.

Actually the set up only weighs 1.3KG. Not 4KG. It's definitely money efficient too for portability versus HPA or CO2. I reckon it would be more portable for BBMG's though even though it makes a lot of noise I reckon it would pretty good.

The battery is very small too it's only like the size of your fist. Maybe smaller and it's rechargable... if you think that battery look bigass you probably just have small hands? lol jks.

id say my hand are of normal size

i have a battery that looks very simular its a 12v lead-acid battery and it alone weigh 4kg so i thought it would be around that. lol i didnt wach your vid i only wached the other and its battery is bigger

i dont think thay have suficent flow to power a bbmg

Haha it's cool...

Although as you already know those 'mini' compressors don't actually have an air reservoir. You're meant to hook it up to an air tank (I would be using a plastic bottle, the poor man's way). I think you're meant to make your own. So you would have to wait for the air to be compressed, then shoot.

Although 600mL air to pump up is pretty hard, but I guess that's where the 'air efficient' bb guns that have been made on these forums come into play.

no way dude.... how is that meant to power a bbmg??

also i think i had this conversation with someone on spudfiles and we came up with the definition that a compressor has a tank, where as that does not, which makes it an electric pump. personally, i would have a separate fill station (dont like heavy guns,...... although all of my rifles are 2+ kg)

Nah dude, that's what I mean just leave the pump connected into the 'air reservoir' so it will fill up when ever you need it too... and you're looking at the wrong video =\ check the one with the mag strike... IMO that's pretty compact.

Yeah I dunno fill stations = seems too much of a hassle, but still a good idea, but I think it would better to have it pump for you on the spot then run to the next fill station to get some cover.

BTW that magstrike with the set up is only 1.3KG like I mentioned before... that's not heavy at all..

Eh, Nerf is pretty much like 'air guns' but with lower pressures. It's common sense really.

well... I dont rlygo around shooting people with air rifles now do i?? I didnt rly think about how you were going to use your gun... Nurf isnt real populer here and there is no air soft
