There is a teeny tiny leak here, but I think it will fix itself. I can see a little bit of black, which I assume is the STEEL JB Weld part just getting pushed out. So I'm just gonna wait another day or so then give it another go. If it still leaks, I will just cover it with some more JB Weld.

That's it. Just wanted to share... It has a bunch of air capacity so I can get a long fire duration out of it. So far I have only gone up to 80 psi but I plan to get up to somewhere around 140. Cheers :)

Thanks, I get all my schraders from Ace, they have threaded 1/8th inch and 1/4. I like to get 1/4" because they are brass and it saves another bushing. I like the red though, haha, it looks funny. I'm giving it a camo paint job like the ones hunters have on their vests and stuff like that anyway for better hiding in airsoft skirmishes.

Anyway, do you have any suggestions for sealing the leak if it doesn't seal itself, I mean like other than using more JB Weld...?

Well JB Weld is epoxy... I don't want to bother with any of that crap. The stuff I use is junk and never works. I think I'll just use more JB Weld.

How big is the gap between the nipple and the fire extinguisher tank? If there is too much wiggle room, the jb-weld could crack and the tank fly off. In my experience, JB-Weld isn't very good at supporting stress loads. So if the tank is unsupported or gets knocked around, I could see the jb-weld coming off. Except on jb-welds that are months old, it is pretty easy to crack and remove.

I'd cast the whole thing at the fittings if you have enough epoxy. I built one of these too, I'd add a reg if I were you

Yeah I think that as soon as I fix my spare reg I'll put it on.

There is so space. I used the fitting that was on the handle that threaded into the tank's neck. I just sawed it all apart and got the fitting part out, grinded it down to just the threads, then tapped 1/4"npt threads on the inside for a 1/4" close nipple from the tee to go into. I think a little bit more weld will do the trick. There isn't much stress on the JB itself, since all the fittings and nipples thread into each other perfectly.

Looks good. For the leak, I've had luck with sanding/filing and then running some superglue over the leak. Let that dry good and then put epoxy over it. Make sure you let the epoxy dry for at least 24 hours...

I'm not sure why how the superglue helps but it really does. I guess it might fill in the tiny holes better than epoxy since it's not as thick...

Ok thanks for the tip. I have a bit of epoxy left over, so after I cover it in more JB I might run that over it too. The leak is very tiny but it will be holding air for long periods of time so I want to fix it.

SB15 that's probably what I'll end up doing. I'll do it tomorrow and give it like 3 days cure time.
