Possible Safety Issue?

On my new golfball gun when I was gluing a fitting in it stopped about 1/4-3/8 inch from the end of the fitting. The two fittings are flush and Ive poured epoxy is the gap and where the two fittings meet. Would you feel safe using this at 80 PSI and under. I thought about drilling holes for screws and covering them with epoxy but I was afraid this would weaken the fitting further.

Yeah I've used fittings mis-glued like that up to 150 psi. The epoxy was even overkill.

My ABS cannon has the same thing. Pressure test it and avoid flexing the joint.

Thanks, Ill probably pour the epoxy either way and from what I have heard so far I believe this will be more than enough, any other opinions are welcome.

You're fine, it is still deeper than the depth of a DWV socket, which is good :) You will be fine.

Always a good thing, and at "only" 80 psi it should suffice.

Thats what I thought, epoxy can hardly ever go wrong, thanks.

Oh it can, and it will, if used incorrectly.

Well that is 770 psi more than I use and also that had large amounts up unsupported epoxy, also would putting the screws in it cause anymore danger even if they are not needed. It would help with my peace of mind.
