sleeving barrels and making a break barrel

i need to sleeve a 11 mm copper pipe in 17 mm copper pipe .I want to epoxy it but i dont know what to use as spacers or how to center it :(

And for a break barrel what type of locking mechanism is used? i want a nice clean one

just make up the difference with tape, make sure you rough up both pipes where your going to use epoxy.

shot gun break barrels don't have a seal but a very close fit, you will need a seal for a pneumatic tho.

ooor just make a very tight friction fit.. like that antique airgun that's been posted on here.. can't remember the name, something that starts with a G I think.

But an o-ring or rubber gasket would be alot easier and more sealing.

yea but the girandoni used 800psi so it could loose a little and still be powerful. im not sure what Major is going to use but its probably less than 500, and if your going to make it you might as well do it good the first time.

yeahh wont be using over 500 psi maybe 300ish and yeah i will be using a o ring or gasket , just need a good locking mechanism

you could have a pipe that fits over your barrel then cut a L shape in that small peace of pipe. you have to have a pin on your barrel that you twist and locks in place.
