well, here is the video.
NOTE: the barrel is NOT plugged.

This is a sneak peak of my WIP.

The pop off valve is set to 60 psi, it pilots a 1'' sprinkler valve, which feeds a 1'' blow back bolt, once the bolt is open, it dumps into the barrel.

EDIT:
The bolt functions properly with or without a plugged barrel.
dry firing, will chamber a round.

once i design a proper spring fed mag, a full auto firing video is in order!

I like it! I can't wait to see what it will do once you've finished it. What pressure are you running it at? just wondering.
But good job none the less.

What have/are you going to use for ammo? Have you tried any ammo at all yet? Looks like a lot of fun, nice work. Any thoughts on a paint job?

ammo is 1'' superballs :D
the pop-off valve is set to 65psi.

I finished a crude hopper, and was able to fire 3 ball, with no misfires.

How did you construct the bolt? It looks like pvc, am I right?

Looks really promising. I like it.

Looks quite promising. What's the max ROF are you expecting without making a fart machine? Have you tried cranking up the flow to find that point?

Looks good, what size is the bolt? Could you post a full pic of the gun.

right now the flow is limited by a 1/4 BV. opening this valve increases the ROF and closing it decreases the ROF.

Min is about 1 RPS
max is estimated at 5-8 RPS

i am sure that increasing the flow would increases the ROF by a lot.

This is honestly such a simple (and brilliant) design that I'm amazed that somebody hasn't build something like this with a detent for airsoft yet. I'm not about to search around on the forums, but I bet somebody else has used at least a similar design.

Do you think this is much of an improvement over a vortex?

hm.. this is really clever. I like the way you have the holes in the bolt so the air vents out. Clever. As saefroch says, an incredibly simple design. I may have to try this, perhaps on a smaller scale.

by closing a BV after the individual shot chamber is full, select fire can be accomplished and the gun will fire only once.

This is not true semi auto, because you have to reopen and then close the BV to take another, single, shot. even though its not TRUE semi auto, i like it how it is currentally set up. This gun was intended to be used in full auto mode, which works VERY very well.

The design was my own, but i do not claim to be the first to use it.
I'm sure someone else has built something similar.
did some test firing, there seems to be one dry fire every 5-6 shots, due to the inconsistency in the shape of the rounds. good enough for me.

Video soon. my work schedule is insane this week,

EDIT:
@saefroch
The main improvement for me in this design over a vortex block is the controllable rate of fire. Also, the power this gun has, far exceeds that of a vortex block..... and at this caliber, 1'' , you would need a VERY large vortex block.

Wouldn't filling in the space in the T make loading more reliable ? Is there anyway you could keep the same diameter as the barrel all the way through ?

I guess the same thing goes for the back T, you could reduce dead space.
Would extra porting on the bolt stop it from cycling (venting too quickly) ?

Also, I am slightly confused by the video, is the bolt black and the inside of the T white ? From the schematic this system seems to fire from closed bolt, but in the video it seems the breach isn't obstructed in between shots, but it must be, just my eyes I guess.
