It says on the back packaging of my blowgun "In the interest of user safety this tool should not be used at pressures exceeding 2 bar or 30psi" please tell me they all say this and that they are fine for much higher pressures. :x

Hahahaha, wow. I have a Kobalt blow gun, and I have used at 130 psi, and nothing happened.

Show us the model.

I've used this type to 500 psi without leaks or explosions.

no, but paint ball QD and slide valves remote lines, the qevs are like 1or 2 mm threads tiny

Paintball QEVs, are even smaller, like M5. And they don't really have a port to attach a barrel to.

Paintball 1/8" are NPT, they do work with BSP threads with PTFE tape.

i have a couple of questions about this. first is it ok to use the output as the input, will it hold the pressure the same? and if i get an 1/8" nipple whats the best way to install this in a brass fitting. Im hoping for it to go to 400psi and i tried drilling a hole and epoxying it in place but it didnt seem to work should i just try it again. its a bit hard to get imperial taps here.

For most blowguns the output and inputs are the same, at least in terms of the internals. The threads are often different.

Most blowguns have sillyly (?) low "pressure ratings". The general thinking is it has to do with the dangers of a blast of compressed air to say a person's eye, and not with the pressure rating of the blowgun itself.

you can't tell how good a blow gun is just from looking at it, i have 2 i bought recently. One of them is plastic on the inside :S (still holds 100psi no leaks)
