QEV not actuating!

On occasion my QEV doesn't activate. My QEV is a spring type and not purely moved by air, could this be the problem? Any idea what could be the cause and/or solution? It's extremely annoying! For times it works great non stop and then another time I will go to have a shoot and air just glides gracefully down the barrel!

Thanks.

QEV is a commercially made quick action valve... what you described seems to be a homemade piston valve

try to be more specific

ohh and increase the fit of the piston - that should help

This is a QEV not a homemade piston, I would have made one but for the life of me couldn't figure it out or be bothered figuring it out :p

How do I increase the fit of the piston?

gsw2....how about an update?? Did you put the spring in there??

FarCry...I'm sure you meant 3000psi. But no. It's gathering dust.

No good reason, N2 tank is full and I've lead for casting...just a general lack of desire where the co-ax is concerned. Other projects are getting my attention though...I'm not "doing nothing".

Good to see you're well. :)
