Hi guys I've read numerous posts in regards to modding sprinkler valves. But none have mentioned the rain pro valves. They have just a solenoid in the middle that's it, I have replaced the solenoid with a blow gun trigger everything fits all sweet problem is air keeps leaking through the barrel, I've tried grease, oil, cleaning it... Same prob, what can I do other than buy a different valve?

There is a very small hole in the output side of the valve. (barrel side)
Think about how a sprinkler valve works with a solenoid on it.
Where does the "pilot side" air/water get vented?
It has to go somewhere for the diaphragm to open.
Put epoxy in that small hole that goes to the barrel side.
This has been mentioned in the sprinkler valve modifications along with removing the filter that is mounted on the diaphragm.

Make sure the manual "bleed" lever is closed.

there isn't a manual bleed lever
just a metal rod that goes through the guts, and no extra holes in the grommet seal on the lid

Can you post a picture of how the blowgun is installed into the jartop?
So you removed the solenoid and the bleed lever.
This may still leave the bleed hole/solenoid vent open.
Which picture is the barrel side? I think it is the last picture due to the small hole/tube in the middle of the opening.
This may explain things better.

There are typically arrows molded into the sprinkler valve body that indicate the the direction of flow.
Make sure you have it installed so the barrel is the output side.

okay, i flip Snapshot_20111026_4.JPG to barrel end and seal the "bleed" holes in the lid and it holds about 130 psi.....fixed
now no quick busts when squeeze the trigger, air just comes out real slow, its not blocked, should i drill out the hole bigger?

either get a new blowgun or yes, drill the hole out. Why did you get a jar top lol.... next time get a normal one, their really easy to mod.

Which hole?
You need to be a little more specific.
Are you trying to say that there is not a large flow out of the barrel and a only a small amount coming out of the blowgun?
