Sry...building a backyard plinker...with power.
I bought the AQ3000 qev from a local pnu. specialist for $60au
I am not sure what sort of output pressures i am going to get from this unit, fingers crossed a chitload!l but i have various choices for barrels.. from AA battery, multiple ball bearing sizes plus an old .177 air rifle barrel. So it depends on the output to what size i will use.
And a Question on the plumbing... Generally the chamber port will be marked as "Out", the pilot port will be marked as "In", and the barrel port will be marked as "Exh" or "Exhaust" or something similar.

is this correct ?

Yes, the top of the valve is your pilot, the bottom is your barrel, and the side is for your chamber. In my opinion, you paid too much, but oh well. You should get decent results as long as you keep your ammo the same size or smaller than your port. Good luck!! :)

THX matty!! My 'understanding' wife thought i paid to much for it aswell lol.. but i did ring 3 different suppliers with 2 very outrages prices for the same valve... $61, $111 & $156 !!! so i think i got a bargain at $61..LOL
I need to get some more brass fittings today and a shop gun.

One the filling/piloting side of the qev would it be ok to downsize it to 1/4
instead of 3/8 to shrink it a little?
but still run the same tooling.?.
e.g.... male quick connect/ball valve/t piece into qev.. off the bottom of T piece run the shop gun or eventually a push button or toggle pilot.

Pics to come over the weekend.

Like crowley said yea. Get a adapter down to a quarter of a inch, add a ball valve and a male quick connect and your good to go. You can fire it using the ball valve. If you want a diff set up just ask and someone should help u out. I paid too much for my first valve too thats why I always tell members to check e bay. Peace!!!!
