Epoxy Putty PSI rating

I'm making a very simple air cannon. I have 3 old fire extingushers all different sizes. Deciding these would be great as air canisters and nice and simple. However they are all non standard metric size threads.

For instance the one i plan to use has a 30mm diameter opening.

Now i want to connect a 22mm fitting onto the canister. Is it possible to use epoxy putty? what sort of pressure could it withstand?
I only actually need it to be 150psi max.

Cheers

Tim

Although i think it would hold as long as the putty was sealed well and pressed firmly i think casting an epoxy block would be much better. Or make your own using some tubing with taps and dyes

Thanks alot, Both tutorials are excellent. I'll probably do this method.

Another question though.

In one of my fire extingushers, allthough the threads don't quite marry a 3/4" fitting pushes quite snugly inside. Would it be easy to Braze/Weld it?

(I'm someone who's never brazed or welded)

brazing is extremely easy, you can do it with a bigger blow torch, or just use a oxy torch
