Hi everyone, i have to say i'm wrapped to be able to showcase my very first pneumatic cannon.

I had my first taste of pneumatic plinking today firing a few test rounds and loved it. :P

I changed barrel sizes last moment so she's now a 10mm cannon.
Sadly for now i have no 10mm ammo, but of course AAA's fit like a glove, but i had a few 8mm bearings to test the mag feed and fire a few test shots.

Hacked a pencil sharpener and stapler for parts of the magazine.
Guide rod taken from a spare Sceptor markerball blaster and custom spring.
The actual spring used for the markerball is perfect for at least a 25-30rd mag capacity, so i've kept that for another project.

Despite the massive gap between the bearing and barrel, at 60psi it spat them out in a hurry to my surprise...so i ran and got the chrono to see the muzzle velocity for the 8mm bearings are 2.24g.

I wasn't expecting over 200fps@55-60psi for a 2.24g round one.

So that gave me a glimpse of what was to come..and to of course prepare a proper plinking range once i go over 200psi. :bounce:

Seconded! Looking forward to seeing some higher pressure shots.

Also, it would be more grammatically correct to say "Cecchino pneumatico" ;)

Thanks Jack will do and thank you for the correction! :P

I made a suppy for it yesterday, paint was drying but looking forward to seeing if it makes a difference.
Peppered the middle tube with holes and packed in foam around it. :)

Little more progress..mocked up some panels from some ali so i can start to frame it out, but again until my tank arrives i can't really finish it, but i have left ample room in the rear for it to fit.

Would have loved a tig welder to do this, but a drill and grinder is all i have and will have to do.

The frame between the barrel and chamber works great, its a nice way to hold her up, i have long arms so it feels perfect.

The weight feels great at the moment, im sure once the hpa tank is attached it will be a few more kgs heavier.
cant wait until i have that, will have constant pressure for all 20rds@150psi roughly.. :bounce:
Will be a fun plinking/filming/chrono...cardio filled day. 8)

Garden gnomes beware...

Just the flash from the camera F1. The camo works amazing, i'll take a pic of it laying on a rug and it actually blends into it a little.
I might try to fade it so it doesn't shine so much.

I would like to see a DIY dip on graphics kit to come out.

P.S. I know that "dip on graphics" isn't the correct name for the process.

Maybe drip/drop on graphics? :)

Texture can be added before laying it down so it doesn't look so flat.

Here is what I'm talking about. Skip to 45 seconds just for the graphics being applied portion of the video.
