You know all I would like is an answer to my question. I have never talked to anyone, nor i would speak to anyone like this. I just asked a question and wanted a short little answer. We all should talk to people how we would want to be talked to. Life is too short to be mean.

I have modded two Rainmasters; one works just fine (quiet) the other gives
me the "honk". Each one was done in an identical manner but put on two different guns. I have tried several different remedies but to no avail. I am
beginning to believe it is either in the design of the gun (could THAT be?) or an ideosyncrasy of the particular valve. I have come to live with the honk-
ironically it is on a GB sniper! That's my best-any ideas?

Thanks, I will have to build another gun and see what happens. The first time I let the valve go I was in the garage and though I lost my hearing.

Thanks alot for the information.

why dont you stop being a dick to the new members of the forum, and actually contribute something
in the upcoming presidential election, there will be several candidates who will be running, one of whom is Hillary Clinton. Now WAIT A SECOND!!! I though there was some sort of rule that prevented someone from serving more than two terms in office. Vote Against Hillary: Presidential Elections 08

Honking is most commonly redemied by increasing the flow of the pilot valve.
That is, mod your valve.

*adds "airhorn" keyword to the relevent spudwiki articals*

I did the mod saturday night, and still doing the same thing. When I pull the blow-gun lever, the air comes out of the airgun, and not the barrel. Do you have any clues about this one.

Thanks

The valve arrows are from the air chamber to the barrel. First time I tried this there was nothing in the barrel. Last night I put some paper ball wrapped with electrical tape around it and did the same thing. Thanks alot for helping me out guys.

I pressurized the chamber to 50 PSI and squeezed the air gun on the modified valve and all the air comes out of the air valve not the chamber

Thanks

I don't really know my sprinklers, but I'd venture to say that your pipe nipple is protruding through the valve lid to a degree that it contacts the diaphram and prevents it's momement.

Try taking your pipe nipple and grinding off a couple threads.

Just un screw the nipple and put ~10 wraps of teflon on it and thread it in ~ 1/2 way
