alot.... depends if you operate on high pressure or low pressure setup. Paintball tanks lilke co2 and hpa tanks do put out a shitload of pressure though. The higher end guns, have inline pressure regulators that lower the pressure to a sufficient amount for the gun to function off of.

Its alot of pressure though.

Compressed air PB tanks can run up to 4500 psi. The guns themselves regulate down to about 500 psi, and then from there I think there is another reduction. i don't know what the final regulation is- good question.

The real answer is its different depending on the gun you own. Like i said above my marker is a bit more expensive and higher end, it has 2 regulators in it, as aposed to something like a tippman that doenst even have a regulator, it just functions off a valve.

If you are making a paintball gun out of psi... please do us and yourself a favor, dont try to match the pressure of a real paintball gun. Stick to 80-110 psi tops. If you try to match a paintball guns pressure, you are going to end up seriously injured, or god forbid, dead.

My MRI has an inline pressure regulator. The velocity adjustment screw cranks down on that thing, so the final regulated pressure is sort of moot point. You should be thinking about final regulated velocity.
