Mini piston design

This is what the basics of my next gun are going to be. A clean mini piston gun like Mr. Plow did, except less than 1.5 cubic inches of pilot volume, which means insanely fast opening time if I use a sprinkler, which I probably will use. It's also going to be 2" sch 80 to eliminate couplers, or 2" sch 40 with orings and screws. I'm not sure of the barrel size yet, but maybe 1/2" SDR 13.5 sleeved in 1" sch 80.

Thats going to be really powerful because of how fast your going to vent the air. Cant wait to see it.

Can't wait to make it ( I still don't know where I'm going to get 2" sch 80). Should be pretty sweet. Then I can make whole T shaped barrel sealing piston valves using this design.

Really? i have only found 2.5 inch fittings there.

That isn't usually sch 80, it's conduit pipe. I'll look next time for it though.

Nice. I just built my third coaxial today, and its still drying. This is my first ever using a diaphragm (all others have pistons). I tried to make it small (like PVC Arsenal 17's mini m203, which inspired me to build it), but I had trouble finding NSF-pw fittings in that size (oddly enough, I easily found large NSF-pw fittings, but not small ones). Oh well w/e

Everyone's always surprised on how easy diaphragms are and a lot of people who've never made them think they're a lot harder than pistons. They're just a frickin circle of rubber! I've made a couple of diaphrams and 1 other piston coaxial but this will be the best out of all of them.
