cool, is it hard to find PN15, because thats sounds like the perfect stuff for a Pneumatic gun.

Because i'm new to all spud guns, i was wondering if pneumatics are better then the combustion using hairspray or deodourant.
For some reason i think i heard that they were better.

Well there is no reall better they all have there Pro's and Con's.Combustions with all the tricks like propaon injection and such are damn cool and portable but the pneumatics have a more reliable and adjustable performance but there is the need for an air source.Me im a pneumatics person.

One more question say I have a 4" chamber connected to a 1" barrel, to me it seems alittle dangerous getting all that compressed air to flow threw such a small barrel, is there any danger in it?

Not at all aslong as all the pipe is pressure rated. As the pressure is always decreasing as it being released. And why would there be more danger as the air is being released from the chamber? There is more danger with the air being held then ebing released. But i do see were you are coming from.

18 would be your best bet, It means its rated to 18 bar. Always go for high pressure fittings and pipe.

rember

18 bar = 1800KPA (or 261psi) = MASSIVE

that should give a gook kick if you got a compresser thats that powerful :D

but when i talked to the lady over the phone, she asked what i needed the high pressure pipe for and i told her that it was a potato cannon and she gave me a lecture on how it was illagal in NSW and such - so just have a ready excuse incase they ask.....

Better safe than sorry :D

Enjoy...

Oh yeah, that's where I bought my PN18 pressure chamber from - Reece. I was thinking Rheem or something but Reece was it. When I went to my local Reece store and they asked, I just told them I was making a little gadget. they left it at that. If all else fails tell them you are making a musical instrument and the pipe thickness affects the acoustic characteristics ;)
