Not much. The pressure would drop significantly, very quickly.... you can't really use a "tank" for a bbmg, per say. You need a compressor or a CO2 setup to feed those air-hungry beasts.

whynot just go with like 3 peices of 3 inch for like 3 chambers made into one chamber. it would be eisier then finding 5 inch.

How powerful is your compressor? If you are going for a compact cannon, you might be better off going with a foot or so of 4" sch80 and run it at higher pressures (same amount of air, greater energy density = same bang with smaller chamber).
Hmm....two liter bottle chambers are nifty too have you looked at those designs?
5" PVC? That stuff is really hard to find.
But it fits 2 liter bottles so it's worth it.

look at how he made his bbmg portable. this is really the only effective way to go about it.
