Well hello once again..

I know I've been bouncing around quite a few different gun ideas for my next gun..But I've decided to build a gun based on the Vogt pattern..

But first I think I have a little problem..

The piping on my old gun for my chamber..I am not sure if it is pressure rated or not!!!!!! (I painted over it..) Even though it's held up to many shots at 60 psi..I am still going to replace all of my piping...
EDIT: I found some left over..and it says DWV Sch 40..is that safe?? There's no pressure rating..

So I am going to be buying some new piping..Which is pretty good news..even if it costs me extra..And I just want to make sure that this should be okay..Even though it says it is rated to 130 psi..I just want to double check..Just being cautious..It's on www.mcmaster.com..part number 49035K31..

Also..I would be buying other sizes of piping... 2" and 1.5" and 1"..So just want to make sure that this schedule 40 is right...

That is clear pvc.
A good price for it too.
60$ for 4 ft of 3" clear?
Thats a good price, minus shipping.

and if theres no nsf-pw on your pipe then don't use it on a pneumatic.

Even if its pressure rated it should have a nsf-dwv.
But always look for a PW

Mr. Russ...

I don't know..I couldn't find anything else..It just said pressure ratings...If you could help me I'd appreciate it.

EDIT: I tried to click on white pipe..But it didnt show a pressure rating//

alright well i just looked down the page and it says this

Maximum Pressure (psi)
PSI (pounds per square inch) is the amount of pressure a pipe fitting can endure.
Low Pressure
60
75
150
200

So I would guess it would be the same as normal sch40

I would just go with what you had before, it is sch 40 and unless its cell core i wouldnt think it could be that bad?

It stated it was low pressure, But the 'low pressure' qualifications ranged from 60 to 200.

Maybe wait for someone with better knowledge then me to comment.

PS congrats on 100th post :D

K thanks a lot Mr.Russ for all your help...And for the congrats...Thanks to everyone who has helped me for everything....

And no it says its solid..I believe that means its not cellular core..Does anyone have input on that fact that it says it has a maximum of 260 psi??

That seems like a lot for 3" Sch 40 pipe...

Sounds right considering 2" can hold 280 psi.
