I just bought a blow gun for 18 bucks.used it on my pneumatic spun gun and DAMN! when it reches 40psi it leaks, To bad this blowgun has a very good grip and also the best good looking blowgun i've ever seen.
what can i do to solve this damn problem? Thx.u's

maybe just check the seal, thats probably the problem.

well you can just check the seal s what hi said but before you do that make a small cloud chamber out of a film cansiter and put it on the front of the blowgun and use a straw as a barrel and have some fun.......then check he seal or hatever you want.


ps. thats just my suggestion you don't have to do it.

make sure your not useing it backward some of them dont work backwards and if thats not the case ask the maufactuer and see if its suposed to go past 40psi if it is ask for a refund or relacement

for a blowgun to seal properly you have to be using the right end. urs is probably like a trigger if u think it is awesome so u have to use it from the bottom. for it to still act as a real trigger you can run a peice of airhose from ur valve to the bottom of it and then tie it on with zip ties or hose clamps.

i wouldnt go to the manufacturer because most blowguns arent rated of 40 psi...but everyone takes them way above because that is jsut a warning.. so either flip it around or figure out wahts wrong..

maybe u could take it apart and clean the seals..

all the air compressors ive seen run at a minimum of 8bar so surely a tool designed to be used in conjunction with the compressor must be able to work under those pressures

I say exchange it for another like it just to be sure that it is not faulty

Spudthug is right, blowguns are not usually rated all that high. It is an OSHA safety thing I believe.

Though my blogun has a sticker on it that says 90 PSI max, pretty cose to the typical 120 PSI max of many shop compressors.

Yeah, I would say that you check the seal. And if you are threading it in, use Teflon tape on all of the threads. Also, could you send me a picture of the blowgun?
