I am watching mythbusters right now and they made a pneumatic gun to shoot turkeys at airplanes! TURN MYTHBUSTERS ON NOW! This thing has is about 5o ft long and has a air tank the size of a motorcycle.

dude its like 10 feet long and its old as hell..look at info it says like 2004 probably..everyone has seen this one..and its chickens.. ill tell you how it ends... the frozen and thawed chickens both go the same speed..and the guys shoots at windows that arent rated for hitting birds.. so they have to redo the test..without windows..

Hybrid- 75% done. need to build propane holder and drill/tap sparkplug hole..

Just kidding :lol: , but that is a good episode. I like the cannon they built to shoot cannon balls. Four nitrogen tanks as the chamber and a 50 something foot of barrel I belive.

i liked the episode where they used a solenoid valve, 50 foot barrel, and 400 psi to launch straw through a palm tree.. but they didnt get it to go through..into it but not through..then they got a piano string to go through and through the backing and into the cement wall :twisted:

I liked when they built essentially a gun, but it was the ejection seat.

I liked the episode when they wanted to test if a passing train could push you over with the wind it generates. To test the required wind speed needed to knock someone over, they shot a large pneumatic gun (no projectile) at a person wearing safety equipment.

i like the one where they make a black powder gun out of a french horn i think it was. they tried to shoot a sound dampener at buster out of a french horn with black powder. it worked. :D

yea but the myth was to do it with fire crackers and it didnt work...

btw french horns are in a circular shape :wink:

ya i get musical instruments confused every easily. it did work with black powder though.

I love how they try to force it to work even if the myth is busted.
