If I were to have lets say a gun that is rather small with a perfect .6:1 ratio. And then I made a cannon with a HUGE chamber and the CB ratio was off by like the chamber being .64 higher ratio then the barrel it has on it. Which cannon would have more distance, or power?

We do not know the answer to the last question, cannon creator.

There are two modes of thought, however:
1) Based on the premise that combustion occurs before the projectile moves very much (the so-called "fast combustion" model), we find that good chambers are good. Like in pneumatics.

2) Based on the premise that combustion is not complete until significant bore travel has occurred ("slow combustion"), we find... nothing. Slow combustion is too complicated to make sweeping statements.
