i will build a combustion spudgun with propane regulator and a venting system, but i was thinking if is possible to make a cheap and efficient venting system, a fan goes very weel, but i want a venting system that don't need to open the chamber ....
so... how about this one:

you gotta sit here and think how many pumps is it gonna take for you to equal the volume inside the chamber to force out burnt gasses. use a damn PC Fan and 2 9V batteries wired in series.

How about this one?

You will still want a fan for performance purposes.

why doesnt someone make a pneumatic to vent their combustion? lol.

still, go with the exhaust fan thing............ its not that hard to make.

hell, all you really need is a check valve in the back. then just turn your fan on and WALA it sucks in air..........

either that or just put a ball valve back there.

If you look in the album, I had submitted a simple hand operated mixing and exhaust fan. I have 3 guns with that fan. It takes a few spins on the weighted knob.

10 pumps my arse, and you would rather sit there pumping that damn thing than open a ball valve on the back of the cannon and flip a switch to turn on the fan wait 5 seconds close the valve and inject the propane. i'm not a bettin man but i'd go with the fan and ball valve.

why is it that you don't want to open the chamber between shots. i mean come on

OR, you could use the bike pump as the chamber. keep the handle there as a stock and then you can easily vent out the gases.Put a pin through the handle to stop it from moving when fired.
