Combustion Chamber pressure

I noticed in some research for my second launcher that some people, who use metered fuel, actually have a "bleeder port" which would be "open" when charging the fuel in their combustion chamber then "closed" when the charging is done. How many people utilize this setup? How well does it work? Any info helpful.

From what you describe I can remember people whose fuel meter is filled up slowly (bleeding). This is always open.
And then when fueling they press a blowgun to empty the meter into the chamber.
This is done quickly as the meter gets filled up slowly and holding the blowgun would overfuel the chamber.

This makes it possible to fuel the gun with one simple tap on the blowgun.
