Hay all, ive recently thought of using all the spare parts which have caused a backlog of pvc in my garage to make a new spudgun, the trouble is that i only have 60mm and 50mm fittings eg; endcaps and reducers and whatever, so my question is that would a chamber diameter of 60mm reduced down to 50 mm have the same power as 100 mm reduced to 75mm ...sorry about using mm's instead of inches.

P.S:
MasterBlaster, you should put more info about your question in the subject. as the question could be about anything... a more discriptive subject is good posting etiquette.

For the same pressure, lower barrel diameter and chamber volume will yield lower power. In this case, the 75mm barrel has an area roughly 1.5 times that of the 60mm barrel, this means more area for the pressure to push against the projectile and therefore more power.
