Hello Everybody

I'm kinda new to the spudfiles and i'm not English or American so please don't mind my language.I am building a new spud gun but have i problem.
my parents do not allow me to use propane so I'm forced to use hairspray but I don't want to make a spray and pray spud gun but a spud gun with a attatched fuel source. does anyone of you know how to attatch a hairspray can to a spud gun so i only have to push a button and the hairspray will spray into the combustion chamber.

thanks for the help.

use butane (lighter gas), beat them on a technicality :D :P
you can also tell them that butane is the propellent used in hairspray, and that you are simply being less wasteful by only using butane and not wasting any hairspray...

OR, you could learn as much as you can about fueling a launcher with propane and explain to your parents about how it will not fire if it has too much fuel and about how it's no more dangerous (and sometimes even safer) than using hairspray etc...

As said before, simply explain to them that the main flammable component of hairspray, is the hydrocarbon propellant mix which is usually either butane, propane or a mixture of the two. By using propane as opposed to hairspray, you're reducing mess, waste, and the unknown by-products of burning whatever else is in the hairspray.
