30kv igniter questions

Im planing on using a 30kv module from ultimatespudgun.com as my ignition system for my new gun i was wondering what else do i need to get the module working?

A 9 volt battery to power it, wires to connect it to your electrodes, and a switch that will be your trigger.
For a bit more cash you can get the switch and pistol grip from USG as well:

yup
a switch any particular type of switch?
any switch will do, don't forget that only 9 volts will be passing through it.
Your wires to the ignitor need to be thick and quite well insulated though.

To make the battery connections go to your local radioshack and get 9V battery clips. Use two: one on the battery and one on the 30KV module.

You can also get a push button switch, which is more trigger like than a toggle switch.

I'd just like to point out that the igniter won't work if you place a switch in the circuit with the battery. You can connect the battery directly and nothing will happen. The switch needs to be placed between the two spade connectors located in this picture, circled in red.
Or else put a switch in the battery circuit and just short the two spade connectors together.

the ignitor from USG can be connected directly to a battery ( at least from the one i got from USG ), if you do, it will continue to ignite untill the battery is empty.
So the first drawing Jack made will work (at least it works on my gun), and i would suggest u get a 9v battery connector, to make the whiring easyer.
