Personally I wasn't too impressed by the 3/4" combustions I had built. You really need big bores to see the effect.

How about downloading HGDT and getting some performance estimates?

Yea I was reading some debates over combustion vs pneumatic and for the most part pneumatics win in terms of performance for smaller cannons. I just wanted to make combustion because I've already made a marble pneumatic.

It would if you used bangsite and water. 1" tee with a 3/4" barrel starts to sound like a real gun being fired. I havnt done any tests on velocity because i could care less about that.

Ive never really put anything solid in my pistols. The cannons on the other hand i have

I've read that using carbide was bad for PVC as it form acetylene no?

BowerR64 clearly knows what he's doing, but in general the use of carbide cannons is frowned up on the forum as being potentially unsafe.
