Question about mini + Showcase of my first mini

Hey, don't judge!
I'm in Canada, these days it's ranging from -15 to -10 (Celsius). I don't really want to carry my gun around, or risk to make it bridle. So I want to do a mini combustion cannon.
My chamber would be a 144 caplets Advil bottle, but I don't know what to use for a barrel. Any ideas? And how to fix it strongly to the chamber?

Use a pen tube and just use like epoxy or even hot glue to hold it in. Make sure it fits tight in the hole first though so the glue doesnt have to do as much work. Just search around and you will get some ideas.

Whoa finished building it, tested it... works awesome!
It's pretty powerful for the size I would say!

Yep minis can be surprisingly powerful for their size. They are always a fun thing to have around.

Sure will, just a question of sending my pictures from my cell on my pc.
This one was a 32 caplets bottle, but the next one is a 144 caplets one. Only thing, I want to use a tub e that will be able to shoot something like grapes... any ideas what I could use?

I've only fired it 5-6 times, and I already can see some kind of oxydisation occuring. Ah well.
By the way (for others), I think that during some while, the spark occured OUTSIDE the mini itself, which is weird. I tried before adding combustible, it sparked inside. I also put hotglue between the screws, thinking it will stop a spark from jumping between them. I tried with some Right Guard, and when I tried igniting, and I'm pretty sure the spark was jumping between the two thumbtacks.[/img]

I've made a 2nd, slightly bigger, mini.
But... I tried to shoot a woodscrew in gelatin... nothing. Just a small dent.. it just bounced back... My guess is : not powerful enough. So i have to wait for the 144 caplets bottle.
Question is : Right now I use a Adidas parfume as a fuel, composed of SD Alcohol 40, propylene and other crap. I don't know what I could use to make it more powerful. I got some Static Guard, but I'm wondering if that wouldnt be TOO powerful. What kind of fuel do you guys use for your mini (that work good).

I just have been easily suprised. My first mini (smaller) works better than the bigger one. It is louder and has more penetration power than the 72 caplets one, with the same ammo and fuel. Wow!
