So, <a href="http://www.spudfiles.com/EVBEC/JSE.html">EVBEC V1.5 Live</a> is finished and hosted.
(apologies to Latke and all for stealing the name)

Several advantages over the excel spreadsheet:
1) You don't have to download it!
2) Handy tool tips!
3) Much more strait-forwards data entry.
4) Much simpler data read off.
5) Built-in fudge factor options (MAPP gas and fanless operation)

The calculations use, essentially, the .75" latke data (actually a curve fit of it), but are otherwise identical to those of version 1.5 of the excel spreadsheet.

Are you running internet explorer?
During testing I noticed that IE liked to prevent scripts from running... I think it gives you a bar across the top of the screen or something.

If you can't find the issue... tell me if you can run burntlatke's programs.

Damn that's nice. Excellent job Boiling.

Kind of odd that all the inputs are in English units but some of the outputs are metric.

How about <a href="http://home.earthlink.net/~jimsluka/EVB ... html">this version</a>.

Boilingleadbath: I'll delete the version on my server in a day or so so people don't confuse it with the official version.

Again, excellent job, both in the calculation and the presentation.

Does anyone have a problem with Jimmy's system?
(otherwise, I guess I'll implement it so that we have a choice between all imperial and all metric.)

Is there a way to make text that can be changed outside of textboxes?
Because a whole bunch of textboxes where the "in" or "ft-lbs" labels are now would be UGLY.

...and grams (as an input) are not imperial units of measure.

You mean like changing the contents of a <span> or paragraph? AFAIK you can change the content of any element with an ID using JavaScript.

Damn you are quick boiling, very nice.

(OK, OK grams are not metric but 6 of the 7 inpurs were english with just one metric.)

Just to be an annoying SOB...

1. Can the page open with one of the two measuring systems already selected?

2. Is there a problem with the default "Atmospheric Pressure" value? In English units it comes up as 213.2... PSIA, in metric as 14.7 Bar.

lol i noticed that, 14.7 bar is quite alot for the air around us.
