I did the exact same thing and It doesnt work??
Just because it worked once doesn't mean you have the amount of fuel figured out.

Ventilate the chamber.

Start with a very small amount of fuel, ventilate and refuel after every failure.

You have to be consistent in your fueling. That means the same length of time for the squirt, at the same distance from the breech.

After fueling, but before firing, invert the gun a few times to try to get the fuel to mix. (Propane and butane are denser than air). A chamber fan works much better.

This is getting repetitive, but i too am a pneumatic guy, and sugest you try pneumatic! But back in the days of hairspray and deoderant i also encountered your problem, tried less of the spray and it generally worked. bigger lighter sparker too. i then saw the light and proceeded to build pneumatic...you have a RIGHT to...

thankyou SpudBlaster15...
people who dont read drive me crazy!!
With the bigger gap it only sparked like 1/10 times.
I went out and got new shinny brass bolts, maybe they will work better.
I'm using about the same amount of fuel too.
It's just weird...
(I even tryed carberator cleaner, as my dad said it would work better)

i tried several different fuels including carb cleaner which never worked for me, i think your problem is your fuel. the cheap hairspray worked best when i was combusting. good luck.

the right guard has ALWAYS worked other times...
Even in my old mini Q-tip cannon.

I personally like Static Guard. I just went shooting with my inline combustion and I was launching spuds 200 yards from a 1.5 inch barrel.

I think my spark is just too small...
but I'm too angry (other word in head...) at the fregan (again, not what I would say :P) cannon to fix it now.

PLEASE

stop sugesting new fuels...

i have a tiny spary gap like , ] [ and it lites my 6'' chamber fine, some times the fuels conduct the current around the inside of the chamber
