I bought some 4" sch.40 PVC and it is pressure rated at 110psi. Im wondering if anyone knows if that is just the standard for clear PVC and if thats enough of a pressure rating for a propane fueled launcher?

That will be fine for a combustion cannon. BTW I love your username!

as long as its a standard combustion (not a hybrid) the peak pressure should be about 60psi, so your pipe should be just fine. now i dont know if thast the standard rating for clear pvc. i think my normal 4" pipe is rated to 220psi if thats any help to you

I have an all clear combustion made from acrylic, hasn't missed a beat.
Your pvc should be fark loads stronger than acrylic>
