Could someone please tell me how to measure the peak pressure in a hybrid at the time of combustion.

i would say one of those tire gauges where the stick comes up cause it would push the stick to the peak pressure and leave it there. unfortunately i dont think those get up to 200 plus psi. you could use a pressure gauge and video tape it then go through in slow motion to see what the highest pressure was.

A gauge were the needle has a little red thing that it pushes when it moves, whatever it maxs out at the needle stays until pushes down...

Or get yourself an engine compression tester they go upto 300 psi and retain the highest peak in pressure until the release valve in triggerd.They cost about $20 from a auto store and have threaded connections so they are easy to work with but im not sure if they are NPT connections.
