Sprinkler Pneumatic Valve in Hybrid ?

Harness the power of precision mixtures of pressurized flammable vapor. Safety first! These are advanced potato guns - not for the beginner.

I'm building mine just like a piston pneumatic cannon except instead of placing the solenoid valve (sprinkler vlave) at the back of the cannon, I hope to use three 100psi saftey "pop" valves used on steamers etc. Everything else would be the same as a normal hybrid (if I can call any hyrbid normal). This way I won't have to worry about replacing burst disks every round or worry about the safety of the sprinkler valve.
great idea !

do you have a link to the pop valve ?

If you go to google and type in safety valves you'll get heaps of results. Heres a link of some similar valves to the ones I'll be using.

The series 89 ASME Section VIII are probably most similar. I got mine from some old boilers at work. I wasn't sure how just a single valve would handle on its own though, if it didn't release the gas fast enough the piston wouldn't go back and bang! Thats why I've opted for three - better safe than sorry.
