Educated guess on burst pressure

Ok, I was looking at burst disk material for my hybrid (should be done in 1-2 weeks, exams slow things a lot), and I thought the sides of a 1 gal. jug of tropicana OJ looked pretty good. I'm pretty sure it's HDPE plastic, and it's slightly thicker than the plastic of a milk jug. The union it will be in is .75". So, any ideas on burst pressure?

Well, that tells me that milk jugs will work for 2x, so I can deduce that the OJ (simpson) will work for 3-4.

However, I was kinda hoping for a more definitive answer from someone (like you) who knows a lot about this stuff.

BTW- is NeoSpud still in the hobby?

Yes, he still is.

I don't know the exact burst pressure, but it should work for a lot higher than 3x mixes.
